This Cell is built using a Fanuc Arcmate 120iC/10L Mig Welding Robot with a Fanuc R30iA robot controller.
The Robot is paired with a 2 axis 10' long x 600kg capacity Trunnion with a drop on center. Mounted in the center of
the drop center table is a Weiss cnc table also 600kg capacity. This allows a work piece to be both tilted and
rotated to allow the robot access at nearly any angle of approach. If desired the drop center fixture could be
lengthened or removed and replaced with any fixture you may want to mount between the driven work head
and free spinning support end. The entire trunnion is quite robust. Please see pictures provided.
A Fanuc Arcmate 120iC/10L is the long arm version of its series and can easily get to hard to reach work pieces. An extended horizontal reach of 2,009 millimeters gives the ARC Mate 120iC/10L a wide work envelope. A 10 kilogram maximum payload capacity provides the FANUC 120iC/10L R30iA arc welding robot more than enough strength to hold and maneuver an arc welding torch.
